Looking Back to the Future

The ultimate conservative is a self-reliant American

As you think about the concerns that many Americans have which have stimulated interest and activity In the Tea Party movement, there are many issues that we, as individual Americans, have no power to control.

  • We can’t control the vicious winter storms which, it seems have been sent to prove the insanity of the “Global Warming” fiasco.
  • We can’t control the elimination of our liberties by executive orders and dictatorial edicts which bypass proper legislation.
  • We can’t control our representatives who choose not to represent us, except to vote them out in the next election and hope our votes count.
  • Millions have lost jobs and homes because of government and bank economic policies (manipulation).
  • We are fighting to keep our Second Amendment “legal” right to bear (own) arms (guns) and ammunition while our non-representing representatives in government are working to turn that right into a privilege and remove it.
  • We can’t control American farmers forced out of business, huge crop failures and investors being allowed to sell food away from hungry Americans.
  • And the list goes on and on of events and conditions that control our lives about which we can do absolutely nothing.

Think about this:

  • What would give you safety and power—placing you back in control of your own life, over every single one of the above “uncontrollable circumstances”?
  • What would enable you to keep your guns even if they were confiscated in food distribution lines as they have been in every other country when populations were disarmed.
  • What can you control that will give you peace and safety in the event of job loss, quarantines, martial law, economic depression, civil unrest and even war?

The answer is so simple that most people, except those who are without it, don’t even realize how perfect a solution it is to every problem we could face. The answer, the solution, the need, the insurance, the battle plan, the peace of mind and the wisdom throughout all generations of time is to have a substantial savings account in FOOD.

It’s interesting that financial counselors who expound the virtues of investing in gold and silver and analytically prove the tremendous gains expected in these precious metals are themselves investing in farmland and agricultural equipment. Most recent news articles about Marc Faber and other high-level investment pontificators are telling investors to buy farmland, gold and prepare for a "dirty war." This speaks to the issue that many have talked about before. Get the three G\'s, groceries, guns and gold.

Most people can\'t buy farmland, but they can put in a supply of food which is actually better because they don\'t have to wait to produce and process the food. Not a lot of the population can afford to put in gold. However, guess what the gold will be spent for anyway? Food! A lot of people are putting in guns but those should come after food. (The guns speak to the "dirty war" issue.) So here we are full circle. Food is the solution for everyone including the investors who could afford farmland, could afford gold and could prepare for war.

The events and circumstances we are facing here in America are so unfamiliar to most of us, but yet so serious, that we each must wisely choose how we will face our future. History has proven over and over again that food is the beginning solution to almost every major problem particularly those involving independence, freedom, security and, yes, even survival.

Right now unprecedented numbers of Americans are returning to a practice of our self-reliant and independent fore-fathers—that of storing supplies of food.

When we look back (to our American Independent forefathers) to the future (coming events of our times) we discover that the possession of a substantial supply of food is the best and maybe the only guarantee of

“life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.

The extent to which we are dependent is the extent to which we have given power over ourselves to that on which we depend.”

Banks, homes, the auto industry, the economy; it appears that the government is determined to bring about total control of our life, health and even our death. When you examine the pending legislation before Congress, is there any doubt in anyone\'s mind as to whether food, the greatest dependency of all, is now at the top of the takeover list of the no longer secret Socialist/Communist/Fascist agenda.

How will average Americans defend themselves when your money, home, transportation, life (should you be unfortunate enough to have to enter a healthcare facility) and food is completely government controlled? The protection of your guns will be useless. Who would you shoot to get your life back?

When the agenda of control is as absolute as is being laid out by the actions against our homes, economy, industry and health care system, the only hope is to have enough, soon to be contraband, food hidden away to survive until the enslavement system self-destructs or the Earth cleanses itself of the plague of corruption under which it agonizes.

The issues in the pending government health care bill are a perfect summary of the control agenda being enacted against Americans.  The earthquakes in divers places are becoming more and more prominent while the worldwide famine, as we come near to 2012, are evidences of the long anticipated earth changes by nature.

Unless they take their future and their lives in their own hands and store up food individuals be able to do nothing to help themselves on their own. They will instead, become victims of a corrupted government and the ravages of nature.  The amount of healthy food we store up will determine not how much freedom we have but whether we have any freedom at all; not how well we live, but whether we live.

Are you worried about the economy? At the same time are you worried about big government and the looming financial collapse? Are you worried that the politicians and the bankers are going to bring the whole country, economy and all, crashing down around our ears?

In an economic meltdown, food could very well become more valuable than even silver or gold, possibly becoming the ultimate investment vehicle and most valuable barter item.

You don\'t have to be a prophet to see what\'s going on. People in both the government and the private sector are demanding ever increasing handouts while continuing to “shake down” the achievers in America and grasping control of major private industries.

What’s next, the family farm?

With a rapidly diminishing middle class, an out of control bureaucracy, and ruling elite that leans towards totalitarianism, these are the realities. When the “stuff” comes down, one of the things most affected will be our nation\'s food supply. If you don\'t have your own food, your life may actually be in danger.

We’re not preaching black helicopter stuff, just laying out some basic facts.

Genetically engineered crops that require you to purchase State-Produced Pesticides are on the horizon, along with even more draconian demands and controls.

Here are some interesting excerpts from an Agribusiness Article:

By CHRISTOPHER LEONARD, AP Agribusiness Writer Christopher Leonard, AP Agribusiness Writer

ST. LOUIS – Some Obama administration officials have made clear their unease with the increasing control a handful of corporations have over the nation\'s food supply, and this week in Iowa they could show whether they are serious about changing the system.

The first joint workshops on agriculture by regulators at the U.S. Justice and Agriculture Departments is expected to give farmers, lobbyists, executives and academics a strong indication of where the Obama administration stands on consolidation in agriculture.

The Obama administration will “examine the concentration of power in rural America”.

“Industry officials and farming groups aren\'t sure whether the hearings are political theater or a first step toward legal action, or both.” “Bush administration\'s guidelines on enforcement had fostered "extreme hesitancy" in the department.” In a troubled economy where food costs are pinching consumers, Varney said agriculture will be a top priority.

"We want to make sure the playing field is level," Vilsack said.

When he took his last survey in 2007, the top four meatpackers processed 84 percent of all U.S. beef. Consolidation also had spread to the poultry market, soybean crushing (which turns beans into a wide array of food products) and corn milling, he said.

With so few companies given so much power, Heffernan contends they don\'t need to cut backroom deals to control the market. They just follow each others\' lead on how much to pay for grain or animals and force farmers to take what they can get.

"They don\'t have to go down to the lounge and talk about price fixing," he said.

Industry groups dispute the notion that consolidation signifies a lack of competition or could lead to price fixing.

"As I travel around the country, listening to farmers and ranchers, there is a fairy consistent message coming from them," Vilsack said. "They want to make sure that the playing field is level, whether it\'s access to technology or the way they market their products."

Some of us out here understand that if the Government takes over agriculture completely, we are doomed!

Although it might seem like the Government is out to protect the “little guy” by regulating the “Big” companies. Consider this:

If Archer Daniels Midland and other major Agriculture leaders are taken over by the government, by regulation or other means, and the corporate morality changes from what it is now at those big producers, to what government prescribes, who will actually be the losers?

May we suggest that regulation and government control of agriculture is not the right prescription for a vibrant future in farming and agriculture? If these bureaucrats get their hands completely around the necks of our farmers it will make the healthcare industry takeover seem mild by comparison.

Here is an excerpt from Roger Hedgecock’s WND exclusive commentary:

“…building on the Salmonella outbreak linked to nine deaths from peanut products late last year, a study released last week by the Trust for America\'s Health (in conjunction with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation) called food safety in the U.S. "plagued with problems." The study found that the American economy lost $44 billion in medical care and lost productivity because of unsafe food and called on the Obama administration to create a new Food Safety Administration and double (from $542 million in FY 2009) federal funding to insure food safety.

Not coincidentally, Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., introduced HR 875 to establish a new Food Safety Administration to "protect the public health" and "ensure the safety of food." Rep. DeLauro believes that the FDA is not effective enough with the current laws governing food safety, so HR 875 grants broad new powers to the new FSA. DeLauro is a former chief of staff to Sen. Chris Dodd. Her husband, Stan Greenberg, is a leftist consultant whose corporate clients include Monsanto.

This bill – if passed – would give FSA inspectors the right to enter, anywhere in the world, any premises of any food establishment to inspect and determine whether the product of that food establishment should be sold to American consumers.

And you and I say, "Great! Who wants to eat tainted food products whether from American or foreign sources?" Having established the always popular posture of the federal government protecting you against Big Food, the author of the bill hopes you read no further. “

With the government takeover of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GM, Chrysler, and the Health care system, do you still think food is not on the “hit list”?

Why are unprecedented numbers of Americans are storing food?

Whether you agree with some of these reasons that people are putting in supplies of food or have your own, food always has been, is now and forever will be the greatest dependency as well as the most comforting source of safety and security for every human being on our planet.

Here are some of the reasons people are storing food:

One in six Americans presently worry about getting food daily.

Runaway inflation in Germany and Argentina followed the same inflationary path that the US is presently on. With runaway inflation, the price of a loaf of bread doubled daily until it cost billions of the country’s currency units.

The National ID card is expected to be required in order to buy food.

Christians searching the Book of Revelations believe that for about half the 7-year tribulation or 3 ½ years no one will be able to buy or sell without the “mark” (most consider this the ID card.) Can anyone think of anything, other than food, which people would be so

desperate to buy that they would be willing to take “The Mark”?

Global warming whether real or fabricated will likely be used to control fertilization of crops and tax farmers out of business.

Legislation to prevent people from gardening is being proposed. Also legislation of all sorts is being initiated to track and control all food and livestock. Taxation of farming and livestock associated with global warming is in process.

The DoomsdaySeed Vault is being built in Norway with the intent of being the only source for seed to grow food worldwide.

The message from Afghanistan and Iraq is that if the food is not centralized and people have their own little supplies, it makes no difference how many guns are against them. They are hard to beat. The populations of these two countries are very food self-reliant and, therefore, pose a very difficult military challenge to control.

If in quarantines, martial law, disasters and emergencies people don’t have their own individual supplies, they will be dependent and helpless like the miserable conditions after hurricane Katrina.

On the issue of guns in the possession of the people—food, or the lack of it, has always been used to take the protection of guns away from people. (Cuba, China,Germany etc.)

Imported food from countries with no safety standards for insecticides, fertilizers, bacterial and chemical contamination have entered our country’s food supply and have proven to be very dangerous.

Dangers of food contamination such as E. coli and salmonella along with potential terrorism.

Job loss and illness are hugely reduced in their impact financially and emotionally with a strong savings account of food.

Helping neighbors or family members to get needed food is always a concern.

Storms and weather make food impossible to transport, destroy crops and isolate people from supplies.

The year 2012 and the anticipated global changes are of concern to many for possible food shortages and survival issues.

Serious American crop failures are creating shortages of food to be processed into supplies for people to store. Even though shortages have not appeared in the grocery stores, as soon as we become dependent on the 2009 crop, everyone will be affected.

So there you have it. Even though the function eFoodsDirect for almost 30 years has been to pack and ship food to families, our greatest challenge and concern is exactly the same as the families we supply. How long will we be able to get the raw materials that are used to prepare the food supplies? Our answer is the same as yours and that is to get in as much food as we possibly can as quickly as we can.
